Documentary about Estonian artist Rein Tammik who lives in France.

The film shows a close-up view of Rein Tammik's last two years from his France period: family, wife Nika and daughter Marie-Christine and their everyday life, beautiful hometown Eu on the bank of La Manche and intensive hours in the studio. This is a picture about a successful Estonian artist, who is also a success in abroad, is in a good shape and enjoys his job.

In addition to exciting presentation of the painting process, Rein is also a great speaker and has always a good explanation for his visions. A rebellious youngster who was among the artists introducing contemporary avant-garde to Estonia, has become an admirer of a traditional art - simplicity, accuracy and honesty in art. He is very successful as an art dealer - he is his own manager, who is able to secure a very good living for his family.
