Attack of the Cyber Octopuses

The aim of “Attack of the Cyber Octopuses” is to re-create the look and feel of the Eighties Sci-fi classics, without using CGI. Therefor it is shot in real locations and used various miniature models and handmade props.

The authors want film to work as a metaphor for our society, as we are addicted to the internet as much as the Neo-Berliners are to cyberspace. So, beside action scenes there’ll be room for philosophical thoughts of society and our lives… many experts have noted, we are already living in a cyberpunk world.

The film was shot with international crew in Tallinn, Estonia.

The film is a co-production between Chaosmonger OÜ and Exitfilm. Started with help of the Kickstarter in early 2017, the film will be released internationally online in July/August and theatrically in Estonia September 2017.
